More about Jessica Keller
Jess started her diving career in 2006 as a scientific diver for Indiana University spending time documenting shipwrecks and getting a taste for cavern diving. She moved to Key Largo for several years working as a Divemaster then as an Instructor. Jess was able to begin her OC Tech training with Jason Nunn before returning to Indiana for her graduate degree.
After completing school, Jess worked for the National Park Service’s Submerged Resources Center as an underwater archaeologist for almost seven years. Working in National Parks across the country, she was able to dive in lakes, rivers, oceans, and caves. She completed her training on the AP Evolution in 2012 before moving over to the XCCR in 2018. Jess then transitioned over to the NOAA Diving Center as a Training Specialist. She became certified on the Megalodon then soon purchased her own XCCR. Since then, Jess has been working as a Diving Safety Officer for the University of Miami and recently transitioned to a company called Inkfish. She also is the current President of the American Academy of Underwater Sciences.
